We are actively seeking qualified candidates in the following area: Grinder/Deburrer

The Grinder / Finisher operates various air powered grinding tools and sanders to finish weldments, edges, and surfaces of metal components as a part of the metal fabrication process. Position requires attention to detail to ensure the finishing process conforms to specifications for quality and appearance, to include graining for stainless components and smoothness for items requiring further processing or coating. The Grinder / Finisher will on occasion assist in other duties as assigned to include welding and some mechanical assembly.

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in the use of basic hand and power tools, and specifically in the operation of sanding/grinding/deburring tools and drill press.
• Experienced or knowledgeable in reading and interpreting welding and assembly prints.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and interact with production system.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to operate additional equipment such as a welding robot is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Must be able to meet production standards while maintaining quality.
• Ability to work safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Position Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude, with good eye – hand coordination.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend frequently and reach with both hands.
