About The Job
Sandy Spring Bank is currently
recruiting for a Mortgage Processing Coordinator in the Mortgage Department. If
you are the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for providing
administrative support to the mortgage division's processing department under
the supervision of the Processing Team Lead and support to other operations
departments within the division at the discretion of the Mortgage Operations
Manager.

Areas of focus:
- Supports loan processors by completing various tasks using Encompass software such as ordering verifications of employment, flood certifications, compliance reports, and other documentation at the discretion of the Processing Team Lead.
- Assists in the preparation of loan files for closing by verifying various documents such as fee sheets, invoices, insurance, and title documents are complete and sufficient.Requests any corrections that are necessary.
- Performs data entry in Encompass software under the supervision of the Processing Team Lead.
- May be required to perform general administrative or secretarial duties such as distributing mail, scanning, or sending mail at the discretion of the Mortgage Operations Manager.
Required Skills:
- Position requires one to three years of administrative experience preferably in a mortgage or banking institution to acquire advanced organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills are necessary using Windows products.
- Attention to detail required.Position involves exposure to information of a highly confidential nature requiring tact and discretion.
- Excellent communications skills are required.
- Represents the Bank professionally in order to maintain a positive rapport inside and outside the organization.
- Work is under occasional supervision where independent judgment is sometimes required in the interpretation of existing policies and procedures where the guidelines are limited.Refers unusual matters to supervisor.
