Employee will support the design, deployment, and integration of software build automation/continuous integration tools (ie, TFS, Jenkins, GitLab) with the SEC Software Engineering Environment(s).  The supporting personnel are anticipated to be (a mix of) senior and/or journeyman technical personnel able to participate in, contribute to, and assure the success of the planning, deployment, test, and integration of the DevOps tools to build services into SE2 infrastructure and SEC software development programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required include:

• In depth knowledge and experience with the planning, deployment, and operation of software build automation tools to include


• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) build services


• Jenkins self-contained, open source automation server


• Scalable set of worker nodes integrated with the TFS/Jenkins build/integration master servers

Integration of TFS and Jenkins build automation with existing project(s) tooling including:

• Software source control systems (TFVS, Git, Subversion)


• Software Artifact Repositories (Sonatype Nexus, Maven, Nuget, NPM, etc)


• Existing compilation, integration, and test scripts with TFS/Jenkins workflows


• Management of application, database, and deployment configuration artifacts and tools


• Software code assessment and metrics tools (e.g. CodeDX, HP Fortify, SonarQube, etc)


• Automated software test tools including unit, integration, and UI tools


• User DoD/Army Authentication and Access Control systems including CAC/Active Directory/Atlassian Crowd, as required

Establishment of and documentation of Automated Build/Continuous Integration server operations and maintenance, to include:

• Documentation of designed and installed configuration(s)


• Development of documented operational procedures including administrative procedures, periodic and ongoing operational maintenance


• Backup and disaster recovery procedures

EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline


• An advance degree is desirable
