BroadcomNPIEngineer: Front End Modules;

Broadcom, a leader in RF Power Amps, PA Front End Modules and FBAR Filters for cell phone and WLAN applications. Their heritage is that they were formerly HP and Agilent before being split off as Avago.
Avago is the fastest growing Cell Phone PA maker. Their PAs, FBAR Filters and Modulesare designed into the top tier 4G /LTE Phones. They have grown incredibly from organic growth, as well as acquisition of LSI, and Broadcom.

They are looking for a New Product Engineering (NPI) Engineer. In this highly visible role, he/she will work closely with cross-function teams to develop next generation of Front End Modules products, support on-time delivery of customer samples, perform product level and component level characterizations, resolve product-related quality issues, provide final testing solutions per product specification, and identify areas for yield optimization for high volume manufacture.

Minimum Requirement:

* MSEE with 3-years related industry experience or Ph.D. in EE with related thesis topic.
* Must have experience and solid knowledge ontesting FEMs, PA, LNA, switch, filters or other RF front end related components on ATE/Bench.
* Must have experience and strong on large qty statistical data analysis using JMP, Spotfire or R.
* Hands on ability setting up RFTestSystems (e.g. Agilent Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, VNA...) for small-signal and large-signal characterizations and/or large-volume testing.
* Independently troubleshoot ability and rapidly identify problems and make corrections.
* Self-motivated, target oriented person with clear sense of priority and multi-tasking capability.
* Familiar with LTE/5GNR-3GPP specs.

Preferred Requirement:
* PhD in EE/MS with 5+ years related industry experience.
* Strong device physics and process knowledge in GaAs, or bulk Si and SOI technologies.
* Experience on FEM, PA integration.
* Experience with SiP packaging.
* Understand Failure Analysis, identifying root cause of the problems and developing counter measures
* Software coding forTestAutomation; C#, C++, VB, Labview, VEE ok.
