Position Responsibilities
Deltek is looking for an Senior Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join its Global Cloud Organization. This is going to be 100% remote role. Due to nature of work performed, US Citizenship is required for the position.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will join the team responsible for implementing and supporting innovative solutions that support the needsof our Deltek Global Cloud customers. This includes, but is not limited to: design, implementation, administration, and automation of operating systems and shared services that comprise our application stacks. You ll work closely with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to implement and maintain Windows and Linux based service stacks that ensure Deltek s products are delivered in a secure, performant, and resilient manner to our customers. The role will require that the individual be familiar with cloud IaaS and PaaS providers, cloud infrastructure Implementation, and troubleshooting production issues. Experience building and supporting a wide array of third party solutions comprising typically shared service stacks are required.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Cloud infrastructure in multi-region and multi-cloud environments.
Manage Windows services including but not limited to: Active Directory, ADFS, Remote Desktop Configuration, and Certificate Management
Manage a variety of Windows, Linux, and SaaS-based third-party applications providing shared services including SMTP, SFTP, SSH, authentication/IAM, anti-malware, patch management, vulnerability management, FIM, CDN, etc.
Participate in the design and deployment of highly available, scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience
Document Infrastructure architecture and configuration, technical operating procedures and policies
Troubleshoot application and Infrastructure performance and connectivity issues.
Monitor system availability and performance, identify and resolve issues proactively, provide trending and capacity analysis.
Provide off-hours on-call L2-L3 support as needed

Qualifications
Bacheloru0027s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure design, implementation and administration.
3+ years of experience in supporting large scale enterprise environments
2+ years of experience with Windows system administration
2+ years of experience with Linux system administration
Extensive experience with public cloud providers AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure.
Expertise with at least three of the following: Proofpoint, SendGrid, GoAnywhere, Globalscape EFT, Nexpose, Qualys, Crowdstrike, Sophos anti-malware, OpenSSH, BigFix, AWS SSM, CloudFront, Akamai, Postfix, Centrify, N2WS, ActiveDirectory, Citrix, IIS, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD
Experience with ITSM and ServiceNow
Hands on scripting/programming experience strongly preferred
Must be detail oriented, task driven, and have excellent communication skills
Must be a U.S. citizen
