Opens the department and performs a variety of clerical functions related to check processing using pre-established guidelines and methodology to meet production deadlines.
Part time hours: Monday 5:30 AM-2:00 PM Thursday and Friday 8:30 AM-1:30 PM Fluctuates between 15-20 hours per week
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Opens department
1 of 2 employees assigned to the USPS mail collection run(s)
Preps, scans, imports and balances all AM check types
Fully process incoming and outgoing checks & returns
Assists walk in customers and makes deposits
Follows department guidelines for tracking and testing
Familiar with Disaster Recovery policies and procedures
Looks for ways to streamline and automate all processes
Tracks own accomplishments for annual performance review
Adheres to all TAB Bank policies
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Ideal candidate should have banking and/or customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Able to follow directions and pay strict attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
10 key proficient
Must meet or exceed department prepping standards at set training intervals
Able to work under pressure without sacrificing accuracy
Able to prioritize incoming work according to set production schedule
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Able to build and maintain amicable relationships with team members and all departments served
