Maintenance Helper at Thermal-Vac in Orange, California

Job Description:

This
position reports to the Maintenance Foreman. This position assists in the daily
operations of the facility and the equipment contained therein.

Essential Functions:

 Assist with the maintenance and repair of all
production equipment.

 Completing scheduled projects, as determined by
the Maintenance Foreman.

 Responding to requests of various departments
for maintenance and/or repair as determined by the Maintenance Manager.

 Maintaining Quality documentation per
established guidelines.

Desired Education
High School Diploma/ GED

Desired Job Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 The ability to speak, read and write English.

 Certified forklift operator.

 Knowledge of electrical concepts and general
construction.

 Mechanical knowledge of equipment and tools.

 Instructed in all safety requirements
pertaining to each department of the organization.

Other Qualifications
Working Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds assisted or
unassisted.

Extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping,
and climbing.

Shop atmosphere consisting of: chemicals, sharp
objects, hot surfaces, and fluctuating temperatures.

Success Factors:

 Prior experience in the heat treating and
brazing industry.

 Ability to work well as part of a team or
independently with minimal supervision.

 Self-starter.
