Arcadis is searching for a Water Wastewater Engineer with 3 or more years of experience to support and grow our Water Business Line in our Guaynabo, PR office . Collaborating with our experienced Water Professionals, you will support and drive development of projects, interact and work with clients, and develop your technical capabilities. Arcadis provides multiple onboarding and development programs created for our young professionals that support professional growth and help drive creativeness, innovation, and greater integration within our local, national, and global teams.

responsibilitites include, but are not limited to:


  • Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of projects for water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance (pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities).
  • Assess, develop, and support management of sustainability and resilience projects including vulnerability and mitigation assessments, and planning and design for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
  • Support Asset Management projects performing data analytics, operational and organizational assessments, condition assessments and overall performance evaluations of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
  • Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards, and facilitate coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Learn/use digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
  • Prior experience/training with AutoCAD and/or Revit.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in design or consulting engineering firm or Municipal work environment.
  • Prior construction supervision experience.
  • Master of Science/Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field of study.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in PR and active member of the CIAPR.
