The of Director of Direct Sales will be responsible for the overall deployment and execution of Residential Direct Sales program within a specific market of the Altice USA East or West footprint. Responsible for the attainment of the customer connect and revenue goals and must display entrepreneurial skills in leading their teams. This position is focused on the leading of direct sales teams, developing sales leaders, reaching both gross adds goals and revenue targets while managing the day-to-day needs of the business.


  • Drive teams to the responsible achievement of quality sales and connects

  • Facilitates positive and productive relationships with other Altice USA departments

  • Define and executes sales processes to provide for smooth and timely workflow throughout the sales department.

  • Ensures compliance of credit policies/CVT in the production of sales

  • Responsible for leading and executing direct sales programs to meet budgeted customer and revenue goals.

  • Responsible for growing the direct sales staff by coordinating with recruiting and executing on an approved approach

  • Manages teams through changes and evolutions of process policies and procedures

  • Leads in the development of effective compensation programs to motivate, reward, and recognize sales performance

  • Supports and encourages development of subordinate management and sales representatives.

  • Performs Human Resource transactions including selection, evaluation, and development of individuals within the area of responsibility

  • Develops proposals and presentations and presents as requested

  • Partners with others and works to maintain a positive presence for Altice USA in the communities served

  • Continuously analyzes the business via excel and other analytical tools to monitor key performance metrics and to drive teams to a positive trend

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to give public presentations





  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

  • Minimum of four years sales leadership experience in sales or telecommunications industry

  • Minimum of 10-12 years sales experience preferably in direct sales.

  • Must have successful track record of sales achievement and sales leadership in directing a sales force

  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer

  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively

  • Strong people and relationship management skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong presentation and sales skills

  • Valid state driver's license and a good driving record required

  • Creative and flexible with a positive attitude

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain senior level customer relationships

  • Travel required up to 50% or more
