Pricing Specialist at ContainerPort Group, Inc. in Rocky River, Ohio

Job Description:

CPG has an immediate opening for a Pricing Specialist in our Rocky River, OH location.

The Pricing Specialist will be the initial point of contact for all incoming rate requests. This candidate will qualify opportunities and ensure accurate rate quotes are provided in a timely manner.

Typical Job Responsibilities 

•  Qualifies incoming rate requests per established guidelines


•  Provides accurate and timely rates in response to customers request


•  Accurate and timely data entry of locations into TMS as requested by field locations


•  Facilitates the utilization of web rating module by approved customers


• Daily usage of advance PC and business computer applications, telephone conferencing and e-mail

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

Work Experience:

Previous transportation experience preferred, but not required

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite


• Management of large volume of e-mails


• Advanced Excel Knowledge

Qualitative Behaviors

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills


• Ability to prioritize with little direction


• Detail Oriented


• Ability to work under stressful conditions
