We are seeking a Phlebotomist for our facility to ensure
that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We

Job Summary:

• You will demonstrate
  knowledge of physiology and function of the venous system of the human body,
  and collection techniques used to draw blood from patients.


• You will collect blood
  samples from patients per laboratory policy and procedure.


• You will decide the
  best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient.


• You will practice
  proper patient identification.


• You will label blood
  vials according to established procedures including use of automated patient
  identification systems.

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Completion of a certified phlebotomy course (strongly preferred)


• Demonstrated phlebotomy experience


• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all co-workers, staff, patients, patient families and vendors.


• Good phlebotomy, computer, and communication skills.
