We are seeking an EDI Coordinator to manage the set up and testing of new EDI trading partners and new transaction sets for existing customer, working in partnership with IT resources. You will also be responsible for researching and correcting all complex EDI errors when possible and communicate all issues to the Customer Service contacts and EDI Manager for resolution. Additionally, you will set up and maintain EDI customer profile information in a data base, report all updates on weekly highlights create and run reports and provide backup for the Manager of Customer Service Systems. as well as the EDI Administrator.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage new EDI Trading Partner set up and testing, working with IT department


• Monitor EDI communications, and provide support for all customer EDI transactions


• Communicate and/or correct EDI errors


• Manage customer data base records related to EDI testing


• Provide back-up coverage for EDI output distribution


• Create/analyze various reports and support special projects such as new customer set-up work

Education and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in an EDI role or experience in a related field


• Demonstrated success in a previous position in EDI related to Retail Operations, Customer Service or Consumer Product Sales.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understand Operations and Warehouse functions


• Strong communication and organizational skills is a must


• Proficiency in an AS400 environment – strong knowledge of Word and Excel with exposure to additional ADHOC reporting


• Knowledge of EDI Standards a must


• Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills at All Levels


• Follows policy and procedure and will review documentation for needed updates


• Has an understanding of Operations and Warehouse processes and uses that knowledge to reduce EDI related errors and issues


• Excellent problem resolution skills/ looks for a more permanent solution to production issues


• Is cognizant of budgets and time constraints for project management activities


• Able to collaborate with others in a project setting and is accountable for deliverables

Physical Demands/Work Requirements:

• Professional office environment. This role is sedentary in nature and requires the ability to be seated at a desk for majority of the work day.


• Ability to routinely use standard office equipment such as laptop computers, computer monitors/keyboards, photocopiers and telephones.


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
