The Manufacturing Manager will lead a team of supervisors and production personnel at our Roseville location. The Manufacturing Manager is an ambassador for the CPC culture - cultivating a passion for serving customers, operational excellence, and employee empowerment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring that product is manufactured safely, to the highest quality standards, and on time while ensuring continuous cost improvement
Communicating with all the relevant stakeholders and coordinating all inputs (people, plant and processes) to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved
Develop processes to deploy labor and execute production to meet throughput volume and on-time delivery targets
Ensuring that the shop floor has the necessary, competence, skill, knowledge, plant and tooling required to achieve production targets
Drive a customer-centric culture within operations that supports CPC's mission, vision, and mindset of 'Complete Performance Change'
Promote & maintain awareness and compliance to workplace health and safety requirements in accordance with best practice and legal requirement
Responsible for capacity planning within the sales and operation planning processes
Develop and execute staffing and space plans
Collaborate with the Manufacturing Technologies group on equipment, technology, and process improvement plans to support growth
Manage raw inventory storage and inbound logistics
Direct ownership of the following KPI's:
Safety
Quality
Schedule Attainment
Productivity
Downtime
Attract, train and develop a world-class team focused on meeting the customer objectives
Drive employee engagement in problem solving and continuous learning
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management or relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement
Manufacturing experience in controlled environments preferred
Strong skills in production analytics and reporting
Have a strong understanding of inventory management, production planning & scheduling
Have a deep understanding and/or education around supply chain management, inventory management and different flow management techniques especially within low-volume/high-mix business
Have a working understanding of quality management systems such ISO9000
Have a working understanding of health and safety best practice
Domestic and International travel as required
