JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT:

 We seek a Technology Second Line Program Governance Leader who, as an authority, will own and manage this key component of Cargill’s Technology Governance Framework.  In this role, you will align with 2nd line program owners and other key stakeholders to operationalize and increase maturity of 2nd line program and assurance capabilities with desired benefit of elevating and sustaining control maturity to target levels as a foundation of Technology Governance for Cargill. Cargill utilizes a Technology Governance Framework that provides a system that enables the ongoing management of technology risk, including cybersecurity and information technology general controls (ITGCs). This includes a process to leverage industry standard controls, assessed against the needs of our business. Second Line Programs govern and measure actions, progress, and results through this structured framework. Cargill is rolling out numerous second line of defense programs as part of Cargill’s Technology Governance Framework. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Provide a sustainable system for the Second Line Programs to manage risk within Cargill’s technology environment and ensure effectiveness of Second Line Programs




  • Ensure compliance with critical or enterprise risk and security or regulatory policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.



  • Identify and assess risk and security threats with high business impact, taking appropriate action.

  • Advise on the design of risk and security solutions, processes, or policies requiring a thorough understanding of risk and security practices and procedures.

  • Consult and advise on high complexity risk and security matters.

  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of IT Risk Governance, Compliance and Regulatory Audit experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of five years of experience defining and sustaining key security, or control framework related measurements that will drive visibility, accountability, quality and overall IT effectiveness
