Overview
Entegris is adding a Global Trade System Specialist to its compliance team. In this role, you will ensure our export control software is optimized to cover various government rules and regulations. Entegris has multiple locations across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. This represents a unique opportunity to develop and apply your expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Audit the configuration and function of global legal regs to ensure we are following export requirements in all countries that Entegris operates, including JP, TW, CN, MY, KR, IL, EU, US, CA, SG
Perform detailed system analysis in order to develop functional and technical specifications for SAP/GTS applications, to correct problems or submit functional improvements
Maintain and update the GTS Compliance Manual
Train global users on GTS
Maintain a solid understanding of Australia Group and Wassenaar Arrangement and other multilateral export control regimes (MECR); identify and assess risks and define mitigating actions
Maintain knowledge of and communicate various regulation changes like DEA, MEU, FDPR, Entity List additions, etc.
Review Federal Register Notices and other countries changes and impact to legal regulations, such as EAR and ITAR, Canada Global Affairs, BOFT, etc. Propose modifications to GTS set up; collaborate cross functionally with GTS consultant and IT to implement the changes
Outline and execute testing scenarios for all changes prior to production implementation
Troubleshooting various GTS block issues and assist in providing corrective actions or training
Other assignments related to daily Export Compliance activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
Minimum 5 years progressive GTS/export control experience
Expert in US Export Control Laws and Regulations (EAR, ITAR and OFAC), as well as other countries where Entegris operates
Experience with jurisdiction and classification analysis
Thorough understanding of export control agreements, licenses / permits, and regulatory language
Experience working in an international environment supporting global operations on export control queries (especially with regards to Re-exports)
Ability to work some evenings for conference calls with Asia
