Job Description:

The Loan Processor works with all parties to a mortgage loan transaction to facilitate the most efficient and accurate mortgage experience possible and ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.  Prior experience as a Loan Processor or Loan Officer Assistant Required.  Experience with Encompass highly desirable. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop knowledge of company products, policies, procedures, and underwriting requirements. Assist Loan Consultants and Business Leaders in the loan origination process. Ensure loan applications are complete and accurate prior to submission to processing. Initiate all order outs: flood certifications, insurance binders, tax transcripts, verifications of mortgages and employment, etc. Gather initial conditions from borrower and other third party participants. Facilitate follow up on conditions. Work with vendors to assist in improving borrower credit.

This includes but is not limited to: Performing all assigned duties under the WVBK compliance programs and related laws and regulations. Successfully completing all mandatory compliance training and any other laws and regulations as assigned in a timely manner.
