The Marketing manager - Amazon will have an opportunity to analyze, formulate and implement cohesive eCommerce marketing strategies to ensure the best consumer experience is delivered and measurable in terms of content, discoverability and sales conversion, not to mention being involved in multiple projects with competing timelines. As a Marketing manager - Amazon, you will be contributing to the aggressive growth of the eCommerce channel, with a focus on Amazon. Planning, developing and executing digital programs, product detail pages meet/exceed standards, ensuring content is robust, SEO optimized, keyword and A+/content rich. Also, ensuring paid marketing with Amazon, DSP is efficient and effective across metrics, i.e. ACOS, ROAS, etc. and identifying opportunities to enhance the consumer experience are just a few activities that will consume your day.
* This can be a remote position for the right individual; will need to be available east coast hours.
Experience with eCommerce Marketing on marketplaces, such as, Amazon, eCommerce brands, improving discoverability, product rankings, building out marketing programs that increases sales short/long term
Previous experience working with paid media, Amazon Advertising, DSP and/or Advertising agencies, assist in forecasting, monthly analysis, reporting and management of marketing spend, associated metrics, ROAS, ACOS to achieve sales goals
Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables, i.e. competing priorities
Assist in managing 3rd party agencies, i.e. paid advertising, creative, programmatic
Creating content (copywriting, SEO/SEM, graphic design, imagery, comparison charts, checklists) for use on marketplaces, eRetailers, B2C.com, social, email, etc., make revisions and management of content updates though content management systems to improve SEO rankings, consumer engagement, education and retention
Working in concert with stakeholders across the organization including Marketing, Merchandising, Product Strategy and Supplier Partnerships
Experience and ability to learn new technologies, platforms & techniques to help drive customer engagement & revenue, ChannelAdvisor, PIM system, content management systems, Google Analytics, etc.
Comfortable working independently in a multi-task fast-paced eCommerce environment and a self-starter.
Advanced proficiency with Office 365
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 6 years of eCommerce marketing experience - Amazon/Marketplaces, including developing, planning, executing, tracking and measurement of digital marketing programs, promotional offers
Experience managing content creation, identifying content needs, problem solving to achieve desired goals, metrics
Managing 3rd party agencies effectively, i.e. paid advertising, programmatic, creative, etc.
Analysis, forecasting skills to compile data, create monthly reports, powerpoint slides, ad hoc requests
Experience with ChannelAdvisor, Salsify, Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager, PIM systems, Content Management Systems and other SAAS platforms as needed
Comfortable working independently on a multi-task, fast paced, self-starter team
Excellent communication skills
