Who are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

* 7+ years of experience in a sales, engineering or risk management position within water treatment, manufacturing, petrochemical or related industry

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Other Useful Skills:

* Understanding of industry specific product offering, pricing and processes.

* Bilingual (English-French) is a plus.

* Good team orientation: You'll work with diverse, cross-functional teams to negotiate customer terms and conditions.

What will you be doing?

As a Commercial Sales Operations Manager, you'll be part of a specialized team supporting a sales force of 500+ across the United States and Canada. Our team operates in a complex environment where numerous legal/ contractual issues need to be understood and negotiated. While a solid background in commercial sales/ contracts is necessary, we have an extensive training program that will help position you for success at Suez. You will need to be agile and able to help clear hurdles on the fly, all while keeping your balance in a fast-moving environment. If you like what you see, here's more.

The Commercial Sales Operations Manager will support the commercial team in key areas including; risk management/ Delegation of Authority and legal/ terms negotiation. To summarize, you'll lead the development of proposals and agreements that can be easily executed by the company and customer.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for providing coaching and guidance to Commercial teams

* Train the Sales team on the effective use of the digital Inquiry to Order (ITO) tools (Price Quote tool, Commercial Operations Portal, SFDC, iDeal, etc) and other to resources.

* Stay apprised of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base

* Contribute to the Regional Sales Teams Quick Market Intelligence (QMI's) by providing updates on relevant topics and trends.

* Collaborate across other functional areas including; Product Management, Product Applications, Sourcing, Pricing, FAST, AEs, and CSC
