The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) program is growing technology program at Wells Fargo. We have a target to develop 300+ automations in the next couple of years as a part of the Enterprise Robotics and Intelligent Automation program.  Significant savings objective aligned to the E&E Lines & Levers program.

The Software Sr Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and level 3 support of business process automation built in BluePrism 6.3 and UIPath 2019.x

The Software Sr Engineer will be part of development team in a customer {internally} facing role, to drive delivery of new automated processes as well as managing the changes required for the automations for our Wells Fargo Technology team. The team member will ensure consistency and synchronization across various builds, delivered codes and updated information on all the changes in progress.

The ideal candidate will need at least 10+ years of experience in delivery functions, 5+ years of experience in robotic automation delivery. The ideal candidate will also work on performance optimization, robotic process automation and maintenance by following operational procedures for maintaining technology as required.

Position requires:
  • The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches with well documented, supportable and extensible development practices
  • The ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture
  • The aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel
  • Good verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience as well as produce clear and concise written documentation
  • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
  • Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
  • Work with developers and application owners to implement the change & document it
  • Troubleshooting and providing solutions for production issues raise by either end user / automated monitors
  • Willingness to train / learn and grow quickly in a rapidly changing group
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design solutions utilizing RPA best practices and maintain technical responsibility for project delivery
  • Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the solution to enterprise customers by creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios
  • Document configuration best practices, create and maintain solution documentation
  • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
  • Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams
  • Self-starter, ability to pro-actively push for clarity where ambiguity resides, such as proactively working with the business analyst team on technical and data input requirements
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture from an overall integration architecture perspective
  • Good understanding of Process Design documents, technical design documents within the automation space

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of design, implementation and governance experience with Robotic Process Automation or Business Process Automation architectures
  • 8 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 5+ years of information technology design experience including systems, applications or architecture
  • 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
  • 4+ years of UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience
  • 4+ years of Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD)
  • Blue Prism Professional Developer Certification

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Very good understanding of new emerging technologies in automation space
  • Understanding of the various technologies in AI and market trends
  • Knowledge of leading Automation Framework/Tools in current market
  • Demonstrate the flexibility to work amongst diverse corporate environments, technical and non-technical audiences across the organization
  • Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
  • Ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture
  • Ability to lead large business process automation efforts leveraging state of the art automation solutions
  • The ideal candidate is someone that has a business and/or technology consulting experience
     

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000
