The Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting for multiple Business Units. This position prepares and reviews a variety of complex financial data and reports. The role monitors trends in order to formulate strategies and provide insight to key executive stakeholders.

  • Builds, updates and maintains monthly forecast models for areas of responsibility;

  • Provides accurate and appropriate materials to meet the monthly close timeline;

  • Researches and prepares variance analysis and explanations;

  • Collaborates with finance team and business owners to gather, summarize and analyze data;

  • Prepares monthly consolidation, review and reconciliation of financials;

  • Measures and reports Company’s operations in a concise and informative manner;

  • Prepares compelling presentations for Senior Management to help drive decision making and profitability;

  • Documents key financial processes, identifies and implements process improvements;

  • Prepares ad hoc financial and business analyses.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.


Minimum Required Qualifications 



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics AND

  • Five (5) years in corporate finance OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Computer Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency

  • Experience and knowledge in several functions within Finance (Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting and Financial analysis)

Certificates and Licenses: None required.


Other Required Qualifications: 



  • Computer Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency

  • Experience and knowledge in several functions within Finance (Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting and Financial analysis)

  • Ability to clear required background check

  • This is a home based position.  This position is open to residents of, and may be performed remotely from Washington, D.C., and from any of the 50 U.S. states. This position may require travel to the Herndon HQs at some point.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 



  • The minimum annual compensation may be around $88,264.  The average annual maximum compensation may be around $132,396.
