Are you a hardworking person looking to start a career in machining and manufacturing? Roush is seeking a General Laborer for our Machine Shop in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the shop floor and basic maintenance on machinery.

Responsibilities:

• General manual labor to include use of hand tools and provide manual labor support for team members during jobs
• Identify any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management
• Have a good attitude towards safety, coworkers, and supervisors
• Communicate issues well with supervisors

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 6 months of experience working in a machine shop environment or equivalent military experience
• Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Available to work overtime and weekends when necessary
• Dependable and has excellent attendance
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and willing to learn

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating a hi-lo
• Autobody is a plus
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Experience packing and shipping parts
