The Technical Performance Specialist provides the technical knowledge and skills to raise the proficiency level of the field service technicians to reduce the operating cost of our products and improve customer satisfaction in a team environment. Audit, train and certify service technicians and analyze product performance throughout the territory in an ongoing effort to improve the quality of Diebold Nixdorf service and assist the team in achieving its goals.
You are responsible for
Manage product/first line training for the workforce
Manage the product/repair training certification on each workforce associate once he/she has completed a formal training course on-site to ensure that the associate has retained and can apply the classroom instructions
Perform skills assessments and audits to determine whether an associate has sound installation, service and repair techniques, proper tools and manuals, and good customer relations skills
Manage "update training" for all workforce associates for skill enhancements or as product modifications are introduced to the field
Conduct random equipment audits to ensure that the equipment is being properly maintained
Implement or recommend to the team as appropriate, actions to improve equipment performance
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering is preferred or at least 5 years of field experience in ATM's or similar equipment
Minimum 6 years electronics repair/troubleshooting experience
Demonstrate and possess a good understanding and working knowledge of Diebold manufactured/service equipment
Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong technical background
Must be able to function well in a team environment
Must be highly motivated with strong business acumen, management and communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal with sensitive and difficult situations
