The Retail Market President will be responsible for the achievement of specified banking center(s) and banking center staff performance goals and will be held accountable for their on-going achievement. The Retail Market President will lead and motivate a team of sales center managers to achieve established goals and objectives for balance sheet growth of profitable loans and deposits. The Retail Market President will be accountable for overall financial performance, budget adherence, FTE staffing model guidelines, creating a client centered approach and sales center policies and procedures.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities: The RMP will consistently maximize opportunities and develop high performing teams by managing and driving key behaviors focused on inside sales process centered around: • Building a personal clientele • Retention of clients • Cross selling and increasing share of wallet • Managing fee income and expenses • Relationship building and a focused leadership approach around: o Increased share of wallet o Development of high performing inside sales and service teams o Overall coaching and motivation of sales center managers(staff meetings, sales center visits, coaching sessions) o Soft skill training • Development of prospects and supporting retention by being outside their office, engaging with clients, internal partners, managers and retail associates • Ensuring team has an urgency to achieve consistent high levels of client retention, share of wallet, and client service through a client centered approach. • Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new sales center managers
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job: • Will be able to successfully lead retail goals in their market with expert risk management oversight. • Have >10 direct reports, leading a number of sales centers in metro areas • >6 years of demonstrated leadership of coaching, management and/or mentoring in a retail banking environment. • >6 years' experience in exceeding business development goals in a sales environment. • >6 years demonstrated prior success with a sales process. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent management experience work experience strongly preferred. • >6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements: • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs. • Frequently sits, stands, walks and drives.
