Job Description:

The Veolia North Salt Lake (NSL) Field Services Center is located in North Salt Lake in an industrialized area bordered by chemical manufacturing facilities. It operates as a 10-day Transportation Facility with offices servicing Utah, Idaho, & Montana. It also operates a Non-Hazardous waste processing facility. Veolia NSL maintains a fleet of commercial vehicles in addition to highly trained and qualified project managers, field technicians, and drivers to meet and exceed customer's expectations. Veolia offers the following services: transportation and disposal of hazardous/industrial waste, on site waste management programs, labpacking of lab chemicals, bulking wastes, household hazardous waste events, and environmental/safety consulting. Job Summary: Responsible for complying, reviewing, and keying inventory data into automated systems. Track and maintain inbound and outbound manifest records in an efficient and effective manner. Also, reviews and reconciles a variety of monthly waste related reports and distributes to appropriate personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter inbound material tracking data (inbound drums) into waste tracking system.
  • Review inbound manifest paperwork for compliance with notices and notifies appropriate personnel regarding quantity discrepancies.
  • Compile data from operating records, review for errors and determine corrections in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
  • Provide daily movement and inventory reports for waste preparation prior to routing to appropriate personnel and locations.
  • On a scheduled basis key-in physical inventory and review for errors. Reconcile and/or resolve errors with appropriate operations personnel in accordance with procedures.
  • Completes a variety of summary reports pertaining to inventory reconciliation and creates miscellaneous reports on an as-needed basis.
  • Run Certificate Of Destruction (COD) reports and issues COD's to customers upon request.
  • Performs other related duties of clerical nature assigned by immediate supervisor.

Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 (one) year of data entry experience

- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test and physical
- Must have a valid drivers license
