Position Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Service
Delivery Manager is an interface between IT Infrastructure and Business / IT
Infrastructure Verticals / Regional IT Teams for the planning, design, installation,
and support of Infrastructure related requirements for Cloud, Servers, Backups,
Datacenter and Campus networks including both Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local
Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, Firewalls and IDS/IPS, Unified
Communications, etc. The person must follow standard practices and procedures
in analyzing situations involving readily identifiable problems. Assists in the
planning of large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.

 

Overall Responsibilities:

·        Understanding
business cycles, you will ensure that recurring business process run smoothly.

·        Manage
demand from users on IT services and supervise the delivery.

·        Provide
technical leadership, create, and manage infrastructure plan and standards
according to IT strategic plan and roadmap.

·        Assist
implementation and enhancement of IT infrastructure projects in your respective
regions.

·        Manage
change initiatives properly and in a systematically manner to ensure
availability, performance and reliability of the systems impacted by change.

·        Liaison
with Support Hubs and Verticals for requests and changes effecting business.

·        Assist
in building and updating Global Infrastructure Service Catalogue to streamline
the services.

·        Assist
in building Knowledge base relevant to respective region and can help improve
performance in others too.

·        Communicate
to respective manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays,

·        Mutualize
resources, reduce TCO, centralize services, study opportunity for cloud,
unification, networks, and Unified communication.

·        Foster
technologies to be adopted to meet future business needs, prioritize project,
recommend buying the IT systems using approved IT budget, etc.

 

Job
Requirements:

·        High
school diploma or GED

·        Minimum
5 Year ITIL Adoption

·        Minimum
7 years in directly managing Infrastructure Teams.

·        Minimum
5 years International Coordination role

·        Minimum
5 – 7 years in complex projects

 

Other:

·        Understands
the need for and consistently practices effective teamwork.

·        Ability
to interact with IT personnel on all levels to resolve issues and provide
solutions in a timely manner.

·        Capable
of prioritizing and managing assignments, tasks, and projects to completion
with minimal supervision.

·        Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability
to maintain a detail-oriented approach while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

 

Physical
Demands & Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of
this job the employee requires mobility, the ability to distinguish letters, numbers,
and symbols as well as hand/eye coordination. The employee regularly sits for
long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and
reach with hands and arms. The employee regularly uses office equipment such as
multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, calculator. Employee
will regularly use a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
