Summary/Objective:

Rogers Corporation is currently seeking a talented individual to provide support to the manufacturing group through direction of production work and the industrial staff as needed, shipping and receiving support, maintenance of data in the MRP system, clerical support, and participation on continuous improvement initiatives.


Essential Functions:


  • Responsible for general support of manufacturing by coordinating production activities to ensure high levels of performance in quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.  Capability to fill in for production supervisors as needed.

  • Facilitates manufacturing information in electronic systems to ensure data and accounting accuracy, and conducts data discrepancy investigations, data adjustments or corrections, and corrective/preventative action plans.

  • Participates in routine practices and team projects relating to Safety, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma, Scrap, Quality, etc.

  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure timely production and shipments, and communicates problems or disruptions to plans to the appropriate parties to ensure proper notification to customers.

  • Provides support to the Master Scheduler for reporting on-time delivery and compiling production schedules.

Required Education and Experience:



  •  High School Diploma

  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience

  • Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word

Preferred Education and Experience:



  •  B.S. Degree

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience
