What we do:

This senior associate position is in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, which resides within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Technology Group's Information Security function. Information Security New York (ISNY) is responsible for providing services that ensure the adequate protection of the Bank's information assets. In addition to identity and access management, ISNY provides other key security services such as vulnerability management, cyber risk assessments, cyber policy and awareness, incident response, and insider threat mitigation. By being part of the IAM team, you will work closely with your colleagues in all of these security domains because access management is foundational to all services offered.

Your role as IAM Lifecycle Support Senior Associate:

The position's primary responsibility is to support access management operational activities for critical financial systems. This support includes user onboarding, transfer, offboarding, certifications and other established operational processes. The senior associate will closely collaborate with business areas on defining and maintaining access for their systems and work across ISNY to ensure execution of those operational processes. This is a senior security associate position responsible for access provisioning and maintenance across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator with deep security technical knowledge.

• Ability to present information in non-technical language to different audiences including executive management level
• Identity and Access Management operational experience in supporting mission critical operational systems and processes
• Able to make impactful security decisions on short notice with minimal supervision
• Deep technical understanding of authentication and authorization within various application stacks
• Proven track record of onboarding applications into centralized IAM system with no operational impact
• Skills in identifying, understanding and remediating access management risks
• Expert understanding and experience implementing role-based access controls (RBAC) across enterprise
• Proven track record of automating manual access management processes across varies technologies
• Proven experience executing operational activities to comply with IAM standard controls and processes
• Ability to understand security risk and implement appropriate controls to mitigate it
• Management and reporting of access certification
• Working knowledge of Sailpoint IIQ
• Solid understanding of integrating identity and access management provisioning with other security disciplines such as risk assessment and vulnerability management
• Desired experience in supporting IAM in the Cloud
• IAM Cloud experience in documenting and implementing new controls and processes
• Desired experience supporting identity lifecycle workflows using Sailpoint Identity IQ
• Professional level of understanding IAM principles, standards, and technologies
• Proven experience working with and supporting critical business operations with minimal downtime
• Driven to continuously improve and evolve IAM processes to achieve targeted Banks' maturity levels
• Ability to create security reports in support of KRI reporting
• Experience working with Risk and Audit professionals on projects and audits
• Understanding of SOX requirements and testing
• 7 plus years of information security experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
• Desired CISSP or similar security certification; Cloud certification a plus
