This position is responsible for the financial reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis supporting three functions in the Corporate & Site Services organization, including Global Business and Document Services (GBDS), Amenity Services (AS), and CAO Site Services. The business manager is a strategic partner to the heads of each of these functions, accountable for providing financial analyses and perspective to senior management, as well as managing the monthly forecast process and annual budget analytics and reporting. These functions represent an in-scope headcount of approximately 900 employees with a gross expense base of approximately $175 million.
Team responsibilities:
Direct oversight for the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the GBDS, AS, and CAO Site Services organizations
Establishment of strong proactive relationships with all partners
Partner with functional heads to identify and report on key financial and operational metrics to improve the business and enhance operational performance
Preparation, interpretation, and presentation of financial reports to senior management
Execution of the month-end close process, including accrual calculations and variance explanations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance; experience in planning, forecasting, and budgeting preferred
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel); knowledge of Essbase preferred
Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
Ability to work across senior levels of the organization
Solid understanding of key strategic frameworks/ financial concepts and application of same within the firm
Ability to develop, synthesize and present perspectives on key strategic/financial issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, creative thinker with ability to simplify concepts and create or oversee the creation of Powerpoint/Pitch Pro documents
Ability to work effectively with senior management and work well under pressure
Proven experience in a leadership capacity demonstrating project management skills/multi-tasking (e.g., balancing workload between short-term and longer-term projects)
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and pick up new concepts quickly
Team-player with strong interpersonal skills
