Your Focus

The Security Build Team develops and maintains the signals, tools, and infrastructure that we use, constantly evolving them to match sophisticated attackers. As part of this team, you will be building advanced and novel detection mechanisms for attacker techniques tactics and procedures, developing systems to automate remediation, conducting threat hunting, and performing network and systems forensics, as well as malware and indicator analysis. What you'll do

• Implement and engineer solutions in collaboration with the security architecture team and identify the operational requirements for ensuring smooth operations of those solutions


• Collaborate on a security technology vision for delivering security services into the Equifax ecosystem


• Participate in defining security practices and operations for the enterprise


• Work with software engineers and DevOps engineers to deploy security services


• Contribute engineering and operational requirements and optimizations into the architecture and design of security solutions


• Evaluating and adopting new tools to improve security capabilities


• Learn new tools and define optimum configurations for the Equifax Ecosystem


• Solve engineering problems and identify solutions for deploying security capabilities


• Build new security capabilities for Equifax, collaborating with the Security Architecture team


• Deliver consumable security capabilities for security and its customers in Technology and business

Qualifications

• Assist in defining cloud security controls, reviewing, and operationalize cloud security controls to provide cloud security assurance for all Equifax cloud operating environments




• Experience using cloud configuration and automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef or ansible)




• Experience building out Data Lakes at scale using configuration management 




• Experience in building and deploying services in AWS or GCP cloud environment(s)




• Administrative level experience using Linux 




• Engineering level experience in integrating tools as part of CI/CD




• Administrative and engineering level experience with Docker and Kubernetes




• Experience with a developing/building scripts using high-level languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl)




• Bachelors from college or university




• 5-10 years of experience
