Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Processing Specialist provides admin support to the processors in a variety of tasks including ordering title, verifying employment, chasing documents and other duties as needed to help provide a high level of customer service and to ensure the team meets monthly funding goals.
Job Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:
Task work to assist Loan Processors
Complete forms and processes to include but not limited to:
VVOEs
Obtain and follow up on HOIs
Verifications of Employment (other websites)
Follow up on insurance docs (usually master insurance policy)
SSA89 requests from the processors
4506 - needs to send to IRS and wait for response
Ordering updated COEs for loans further in the process (changing exemption status, name changes, etc.)
Timelines from Ops Loan Assist
CD calls for borrowers
Rate Lock Extensions
Forbearance Docs pulled from CPI
Assist in other business initiatives and duties as assigned
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
High school diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience
1+ year administration experience, preferably in the mortgage or real estate industry
Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little oversight
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Training / Licensing Requirements: Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
