About the role
This position exists as a support to the manufacturing department. This position labels and delivers all packaging with the correct lot information and ensure that each production team member has the materials that they need to ensure maximum productivity and uptime. #CB
What you will do
Label all inner packaging with correct lot information for each machine in operation on a given shift.
Apply labels to outer and intermediate packaging for all products on a given shift.
Deliver materials as required to each machine in operation on a given shift.
Empty the trash and scrap generated from the production cell over the course of a given shift.
Assist the team lead with material movement inside the department, including raw materials, finished goods, and WIP materials
Assist the team lead in material transfer transactions
Assist the operators in machine troubleshooting as required, e.g. act as an extra set of hands.
Assist inventory maintenance and tracking of material in and out of the production cell
Maintain area cleanliness and keep the floor clear of debris, scrap, or other material.
Assist the team lead and supervisor as required and able
Other applicable tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
What we are looking for
High School diploma or equivalent
1 - 5 years assembly manufacturing experience
Must be able to lift 30 lbs
Must have the dexterity to efficiently work with small parts.
Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push and engage in repetitive physical movement
