Dura-Line is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Applications Programmer (Software Developer) to join the team! In this exciting role, you will partner with global cross-functional teams to define, develop, implement, and maintain existing and new software applications. This critical role will be instrumental to delivering digital solutions that will drive value resulting in operational excellence and cost savings globally for the organization, so bring your expertise in understanding coding methods in a manufacturing environment and get ready to make an impact.

 

What will help you succeed in this role?


  • You must have 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and technical management in a manufacturing environment and a deep understanding of standard SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.

  • Your ability to train and give technical direction to create complex software applications that pertain to modeling, simulation, planning, transportation, and logistics systems will be key in this role.

  • You must have a comprehensive understanding and practical working experience of a wide variety of software development skills including but not limited to.NET (C#, Web Services), JAVA Script, SQL Server, XML, HTML5, EDI.

  • Experience in ERP/SAP system, and SharePoint development, integration between system, document control, and workflow automation are required.

  • We are looking for a well-versed individual to understand and maintain coding standards and release processes and methodologies, version management, and can upkeep code integrity.

  • If you want to showcase your talent, use your diagnostic and subject-matter expertise skills to design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs & proactively fix errors and make improvements.

 

This role requires a customer-centric driven individual with solid project management skills to train global cross-functional teams and end-users on new or modified programs and applications while developing and implementing innovative solutions to help efficiency. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and be a highly motivated and driven individual.
