Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania is an 86 bed acute-care psychiatric hospital that offers a full continuum of care for older adults dealing with mental health conditionsand co-occurringdisorders.

We are seeking talented Behavioral Health Techs to join our team!

Shift- 7:00 am- 3:30 pm

As a Behavioral Health Technician you will provide direct patient care to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse while maintaining a safe and efficient working and treatment environment. Your ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, quality patient care will be essential to success.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of acute inpaitent care with psychiatric experience preferred. Our ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to maintain healthy personal boundaries.

Position Summary:

* Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care to patients as assigned.

* Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures.

* Communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.

Education:High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One year acute inpatient with psychiatric care experience preferred.
