Job Description:

UiPath – Sr. Developer/Tech Lead – Development & Support POD

Technology Platforms: UiPath, SQL Server, Kibana, Abbyy Flexicapture, Appian BPM (Preferred)

Experience required


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology

  • 7-10 Years of experience in IT.

  • Must have 4+ years of Development experience with, .Net or other programming language.

  • Must have 1+ year of UiPath experience and 2+ years of experience across RPA tools

  • Experience in Appian BPM platform (preferred)

  • Must have 2+ Years Tech Lead experience and working in a distributed team model

  • Experience in an Agile SCRUM, or CI-CD/DevOps environment

  • Ability to understand the business process and recommend automation solutions leveraging RPA/BPM technology

  • Good understanding of Process Design documents, technical design documents within the automation space

  • Ability to lead a team of developers and testers and implement automation solutions independently

  • Experience in IT operations and support delivery preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:




    1. Processes Transition & Takeover:


      1. Make sure the implementation of processes is in line with industry standards & best practices.

      2. Undertake knowledge transition of the automation solution code & configurations.

      3. Get the knowledge on involved applications, drivers, external applications, add-ins, browsers, and other dependencies

      4. Capture the business process owner and other stakeholder information.

      5. Understand the business case and metrics.

      6. Ensure required documentations are in place.



    2. Orchestrator Monitoring:

      1. Manually kick-start bots that have failed to start on schedule due to issues\exceptions.

      2. Maintain and manage the schedule of all the bots/automations

      3. Disable\Enable the jobs during planned outages.

      4. Create or modify the schedules/triggers of the Jobs.

      5. Check the Job execution, in case of any failures create an incident and investigate the issue.

      6. Make sure the queue items processed successfully and retired properly.



    3. Platform Management:

      1. Test the automations after every Monthly patching to ensure nothing is broken

      2. Work with SCRUM master & Product Owner on server allocation & resolving schedule conflicts.



    4. Develop Automations:

      1. Make code changes/bug fixes for assigned Sprint backlog items.

      2. Code and unit test assigned development stories\backlog items

      3. Make sure to have all necessary documents for all deployments in all environments.

      4. Provide inputs to SCRUM master and Product owner on estimations, dependencies, and solutions.



    5. Incident Analysis & Fixes:

      1. Analyze the root cause of assigned incidents

      2. Work with infrastructure/product and interfacing teams in case of issues in 3rd part applications, product, or infrastructure.

      3. Update\Modify the asset values or code as per assigned incidents.



    6. Coordination

      1. Communicate & Coordinate with onsite stakeholders (Product owners/Business Process owners) on the status of bot/automation failures/planned outages.

      2. Provide status updates and support status reporting as required.
