Our Civilian team supports our Nation’s federal agencies delivering services to the Public and are responsible to provide core agency mission service along with obtaining critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of mission delivery.

AT&T has an opening for Client Solutions Executive 3 to support several federal civilian agencies, in providing acquisition, growth and retention for AT&T solutions to solve and transform Agency missions.  

Job Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Proven sales leader, capable of physical presence on the USDA customer premise, to identify opportunities meeting a wide variety of customer needs for AT&T products, services, systems, and solutions. Team member will be required to:
    • Use consultative skills to close sales for assigned accounts in accordance with company policy, procedures and culture.
    • Demonstrate sustained record of sales achievement responsible for meeting revenue objectives.
    • Build/maintain/grow network of colleagues/customers to share information, obtaining prospects.
    • Organize and lead product presentations/services/migrations and mapping to customer and prospective customer needs.
    • Develop responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
    • Identify key trends and customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge/applications.
    • Manage strong strategic partnership with clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, priorities, delivering valuable solutions.
    • Support the greater civilian sales team through partnership ethos, coaching, assisting and mentoring less experienced peers.
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of entire AT&T product/service line.
    • Support resolution of customer disputes and accounts receivable discrepancies (i.e. billing/installation/customer issues).
    • Effectively influences customers, diffusing potential problems.
    • Develop strategic initiatives to grow and retain the revenue stream of assigned highly complex accounts/projects while ensuring customer satisfaction with considerable latitude.

Duties directly related to making sales include:

  • Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales,etc.; traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities; providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales; researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering; researching customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunities.

Required Clearance: Public Trust

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is not required but a degree in a related field is preferred
  • Outside Sales experience
    • Passion around meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales targets
    • Strong networking and negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated consultative selling skills
    • Experience with Telecommunications or Technical sales
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
    • Current auto insurance
    • Reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market
  • Oakton VA is the preferred location, but will consider candidates virtual or remote

Desired Qualifications:

  • Existing USDA executive relationships and program experience
  • Experience and relationships with USDA stakeholders and/or program executives
