Production Associate/Scanner at Novo Health Services in Mason, Ohio

Job Description:

MAJOR PURPOSE OF THIS JOB: 

Responsible for performing tasks in any of the production function areas in accordance with Novo Health Services Standard Operating Procedures. Primary responsibility include but are not limited to linen separation, hand folding and load building. May perform some or all of the following duties depending on training and experience.

• Ability to ready, understand and perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.


• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.


• Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.


• Work within established productivity and quality standards.


• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.


• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.


• Keep work station neat and clean.


• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a fast-paced indoor production area with little exposure to dust and high temperatures; moderate exposure to noise; climate-controlled environment; controlled access.

EXPERIENCE:

No prior experience required.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Production and/or assembly experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Detail-oriented.


• Able to learn quickly.


• Able to perform repetitive physical motion at a work station for a minimum of two hours at a time.


• Willing and capable of working on different assignments within the facility or designated area.


• Good manual dexterity.


• Able to stand on feet for long periods.

• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
