Journey-Level Industrial Electrician

The Georgia-Pacific Camas Mill in Camas, WA is seeking talented individuals to further its culture of Market Based Management and contribute to its world class manufacturing process. Successful candidates will exhibit a safe and dependable work history and will take ownership of all assigned processes to ensure a safe and reliable operation is maintained. Payrate is $36.93/hour for Step 1. Opportunity to earn between $36.93 to $41.43/hour based on qualified training and assigned schedule. With future earning potential

What You Will Do In Your Role

·Equipment and process troubleshooting

·PLC and Drive Maintenance

·Control Wiring Installation and Repair

·Preventative maintenance task as assigned

·Rotating shift work

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

·High School Diploma or equivalent required

·Possession of a Washington Electrical License or a reciprocal license

·Must have experience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)

·Be able to demonstrate a safe and dependable work history

·Basic computer skills. Word, Excel, window drive apps

·Successful candidate will pass a series of assessments (which are computer based), a formal interview, background check, and drug screen

What Will Put You Ahead

·Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience in an industrialized, manufacturing environment

·Advanced technical degree/training in the Electrical &Instrumentation field

·Experience in the pulp and paper industry

·Proficiency in Industrial Motor Controls (PLC, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, & temperature) ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, Emerson
