The Burn and Plastic Surgical Unit on Ellison 14 is a twenty-one bed adult patient care unit. Seven beds are dedicated to the care of the critically burn injured adult, four of which are Bacteria Controlled Nursing Units (BCNU's).
An interdisciplinary approach is used in the management of thermally injured patients including CNS, ACNP, RN and support staff. This patient population has a wide variety of diagnoses and undergoes many types of surgical and medical interventions, including reconstructive surgery and cosmetic procedures.
BSN and Massachusetts RN license required.
This is a full time position, day/night rotation including weekends and holidays.
Two years acute care RN experience required.
RN experience with Burns/Plastics/ICU preferred.
