Position Description:

The Corporate Information Technology Team delivers unified communication and desktop technologies to the global SEI workforce utilizing infrastructure design, systems engineering, support and project management.

SEI is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented IT Professional to join the Corporate IT team. We are searching for a Systems Engineer to support our Apple environment (Jamf/Intune/iPhone/iPad/MacOS/ACSP).

As a Mac System Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, tasked with improving the end user experience for Apple devices within the business. The primary objective of this role is to act as the Subject Matter Expert on MacOS, iOS, and Apple technologies, maintain and evolve Mac management (JAMF/Intune) and review and recommend solutions to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-site, multi-domain environment.

What you'll do:

Assist in design and implementation of enterprise solutions

Develop and implement procedures and documentation for ensuring ongoing operations and proactive maintenance of the environment consistent with industry standards

Create packages utilizing JAMF policies.

Implement MDM Security policies

Responsible for mobile device support (iPhone, iPad, etc.)

Evaluate potential implementation of new applications as required.

Provide first or second level support on issues reported by users

Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex issues

Assist with OS updates, patches and vulnerability remediation as needed

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.

3 plus years of experience performing in engineering function supporting Mac operating system.

Demonstrated experience in a medium to large scale enterprise.

Extensive knowledge of Mac systems management in an Active Directory environment.

A thorough knowledge of Apple MDM, Jamf and Intune is required.

Extensive knowledge of Mac operating system configurations.

Expert knowledge of macOS & iOS management and deployment

Expert knowledge of scripting (AppleScript, Shell, Bash, PowerShell etc) for automation

Jamf Pro - including system design, implementation and management

Extensive experience with system management tools and imaging.

Demonstrable experience in software packaging and deployment

Experience providing second or third level support on multiple applications.

Extensive experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Strong problem-solving experience to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex issues

Ability to assess, analyze and research technical situations and provide viable alternatives.

Ability to learn new technologies, concepts, and procedures quickly.

Experience with network infrastructure (LAN\WAN\Wi-Fi) is plus.

Knowledge in supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Conditional Access is plus.

Project management experience will provide additional consideration.
