About This Career Opportunity
The Activities Assistant:
Coordinates and arranges for activities and events for residents.
Assists with implementation of daily activity programs as needed.
Works closely with Life Enrichment Director in providing programming to stimulate and support the social, physical, and emotional functioning of the residents.
Assists with implementation of the daily activity programs as needed.
Promotes a safe environment. Understands all safety procedures. Demonstrates the ability to remain calm in emergency and/or stressful situations.
Are You Qualified?
Here's what you need:
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English, and successfully work in a multi-cultural environment.
Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22.
Positive work ethic and concern for elders.
Minimum of one year of experience working in an elder care setting strongly desired.
