Job Description:

Company Summary:

Front Range Stone has been in business for about 20 years. Front Range Stone serves the entire state and is one of Colorado’s largest and most established custom countertop and commercial surface fabricators offering a breadth of countertop products including Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface, and Laminate.

Position Summary:

Assist Accounting Manager with the day-to-day accounting functions of the company in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles.

Essential Functions:


  • Verify and process invoices in a timely manner

  • Monitor and collect accounts receivables

  • Coordination and audit relation between all systems: Moraware, Sage 100, etc.

  • Accounts Payable - vendor invoice entry and payment

  • Accounts Receivable - customer invoices and cash receipts

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Experience:


  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST

  • Previous Accounting data entry preferred but not required

Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED

Skills & Abilities:


  • Skill in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Effectively verbal and written communication

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

  • Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
