Evoqua Water Technologies is currently seeking a Driver/Technician in the Houston area

Transforming Water - Enriching Life

Evoqua Water Technologies, has an immediate opportunity for a mechanically inclined commercial truck driver based out of our Conroe Texas facility. This position will operate a tractor trailer (tanker) in the regional area - Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Alabama. Our drivers operate company owned specialty vehicles that perform Ion Exchange Services to our customers for their water purification systems. Drivers will interface and coordinate equipment exchange with Evoqua personnel at our manufacturing facilities and customer sites.

Evoqua Water Technologies has a great hourly rate ; we do not pay by the mile, load or based on commission. Instead, Evoqua pays their employees for hours they work and time and half for anything over 40 hours. We guarantee 40 hours per week and two consecutive days off (Friday & Saturday or Sunday & Monday)

Qualifications the ideal candidate will need to have:

Must have - Valid Class A CDL License

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years Tractor Trailer driving experience.
• Understand driving, pulling and limitations of tractor/trailer. Understand the processes and procedures of how to manipulate the fifth wheel and trailer axles in order to shift weight and maintain legal weight limitations.
• DOT requirements concerning driving a CMV tractor/trailer weighing over 26,000 lbs.
• Understanding of conditions that would incur an overweight situation, and possible solutions to these conditions
• A Clean driving record is a must.
• TWIC card preferred but not required, we will help you obtain once employed
• Willingness to learn our services and products, changing and setting up water filter systems
• Our commitment to Safety and Safe Driving.
• Mechanical and light electrical skills preferred. Will train motivated individual.
