We are looking for an Ambitious, Confident and Enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our DHL Express Finance team at our U.S. corporate headquarters in Plantation, FL.

The intern will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for working with senior leadership and utilizing knowledge gained in the classroom to solve real-world Finance focused problems.  The Finance Intern can expect to gain experience working with a well-established  Finance department and Six Sigma process improvement method by driving the following projects and completing the following tasks:

• Run Go green reports such as emissions, fuel type…etc and contact stakeholders to ensure data quality (main project)


• Develop and maintain a cost center hierarchy


• Assist with Fixed Asset inventory project and other ad hoc projects


• Profit and losses reporting

• Identifies performance issues and makes recommendations to management for remedial actions


• Research and communicate results to key stakeholders – ensure clarity with all levels

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiast team player:

​The prospective candidate is currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Must have excellent written, oral communications, and interpersonal skills


• Strong Project Management skills


• Experience with MS Office Word, Power Point, Excel, Access and POWER BI


• Experience using Excel is required using formula functions, forms and analysis tools


• Ability to learn new software / processes quickly and efficiently


• Some data mining may be required for statistical support of projects
