Job Description:

Summary
The primary role of this position is to plan, coordinate, and oversee all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the customers' and end-consumers' information systems. This individual is also responsible for planning and testing enhancements to the integration modules and the interoperability of any Corporate Payments application modules under development by in-house software development teams or 3rd parties (Viewpoint, Fleetmatics, FleetWave, Concur, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead technology solution and integration efforts for customer implementation and existing account projects.

  • Project management and liaison for new integration projects with 3rd party vendors.

  • Participate in cross-functional pre-sale customer opportunities.

  • Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill customer/vendor requirements, and resolve systems issues.

  • Primary point-of-contact for WEX/EFS Web Services APIs; identify and resolve issues, facilitate customer integration, oversee enhancements design and testing.

  • Technical customer & internal support on integration issues.

  • Subject Matter Expert for customer and supplier EAP product integration needs.

  • Knowledgeable and lead resource for MasterCard integration and customer-facing applications (SmartData, CDF3 file integration, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of MasterCard authorization & clearing processes and hardware (MIP).

  • Research and make recommendations on integration approach and deliverables for implementing new processing partner programs.

  • Central point-of-contact for technical/system enhancements coming in from sales, customers, product.

  • Assist with WEX IP


  • Responsible for ensuring accurate processing of clients files and ensuring SLA's are met

  • Make sure all files are received and processed with no errors

  • Logging, working escalation (when necessary) and following up on any production issues from notification through resolution.

  • Handle all client communication regarding payments files, special requests, and web interface issues.

  • Research jobs suspended as possible duplicates, preventing actual duplicate files from processing and requesting the release of payments that are proven not to be duplicates.


  • Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company's oval strategic vision

  • Facilitate communication of business changes that occur as a result of software integration create support documentation for other teams.

  • Design and gather requirements for enhancements.

  • Lead testing phase of integration software and applications under development.

  • Assist with prioritizing Corporate Payments development items and provide status updates to business users and customers.

  • Create process, technical and user documentation for application/system integration and Corporate Payments reporting options/features.

  • Training (both external & internal customers).


  • This position will require some travel from time-to-time (travel volume based on customer integration needs).

  • Perform other related work as required.

  • Regular reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.

  • Regular attendance at employer's place of business and during the business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm CT is essential.

Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of real-time processing and systems integration.

  • Familiar with technology (data formats, data communications, systems integration, operating systems, etc.).

  • Knowledge of network protocols and standards.

  • ACH and Check print knowledge is desired.

  • Professionally present and gather information in a sales environment.

  • Ability to gain strong understanding of customer's needs and requirements.

  • Communicate effectively when training, defining requirements, and managing projects.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent time-management and follow-through skills required to drive results.

  • Present and gather information in a sales environment.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or strong related industry and technical systems integration experience.
