Supervisor does have direct reports (both US based staff and staff that are supplied by off-shore vendors) and is responsible for assisting staff with training, questions, problems, and backlog. With the assistance of the manager, will be responsible for staff reviews, disciplinary action when necessary, approving time off and time-sheets and coordinating back up coverage. Responsible for coordinating reports and data that will be reviewed with clients on a monthly call


A day in the life!



  • Provide back up and support to the Director of Revenue Cycle Services- Home Health and Hospice and serve as a subject matter expert on Home Health and Hospice RCM process



  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues that relate to RCM for Home Health and Hospice billing



  • Perform analysis of data and develop corrective action plans

  • Assisting staff with training, questions, problems and backlog

  • Meet with oversees and US staff weekly as a group and monthly on an individual basis for US based

  • US based staff - Receive, review, approve and/or deny incoming time off requests and time-sheets from staff in coordination with manager. Monitor productivity

  • Off-Shore staff - Supervise off-shore attendance to shift work queues as needed, suggest removal of staff, work with Director when new staff need to be added and monitor productivity

  • Provide feedback and comments to Director for reviews when due and present to employee in coordination with manager Director

  • Coordinate month-end process, creation of reports and complete it on or before the deadline dates assigned

  • Assist managers with analyzing monthly reports such as AR balances, denials, pre bill edits and data within WellSky Collect system

  • Participate in the training and/or mentoring programs as assigned or required

  • Work with other Supervisors within the Department

Job Competencies:



  • Minimum of a high school diploma required

  • Four years Home Health billing and collection experience

  • Healthcare insurance claims processing knowledge or healthcare billing knowledge or healthcare collection knowledge


Job Requirements:



  • Minimum of a high school diploma required

  • Four years Home Health billing and collection experience necessary

  • Thorough knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel mandatory

  • Ability to deal with a variety of personalities in a professional manner is mandatory

  • Ability to assimilate a large volume of knowledge, detail orientation and good follow through skills are crucial

  • Excellent communication skills and people skills is essential

  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment

  • Customer focused

  • Works well in a team environment


Preferred Requirements:



  • Home Health Billing and AR experience, some college education

  • Past Supervisory experience
