Sr. Finance Manager, Capital Processes (Supply Chain Finance) at Danone North America in Broomfield, Colorado

About the job

Our Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward

• Support the Engineering team during planning and execution of project capital and expense budgets


• Create capital and expense budgets and manage spend based on company targets


• Support the Engineering Directors during the planning, execution and closing phases of projects.


• Support business units with large capital cases


• Manage and coordinate with Project Analysts in reporting the budget follow up and managing/forecasting the Capex and expenses related with engineering projects.


• Coordinate between engineering and finance on forecast and reporting


• Coordinate with C&P/Purchasing and project engineers on Capex targets


• Create and maintain US Capex spend ratios for use in project estimating and as performance indicators.


• Assist with the planning and controlling of the project budgets for each manufacturing facility.


• Improve project related tasks or processes such as Idle asset disposition, place in service requirements, asset determination, capitalization procedures, etc

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Finance - Masters preferred


• Strong analytical and project management skills


• 3 years of project engineering, plant or manufacturing experience is a plus


• Learning agility / comfortable in a fast-paced and highly flexible environment


• Excellent MS office and Excel skills


• Experience building P&Ls


• Travel of approximately 10% is required
