The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Are you passionate about Data, Data curation and analytical modeling and how it can help shape the future? Do you have experience with complex analytical or simulation tools, specifically related to 3M and Network/distribution situations? Are you looking to develop and grow your own experience in analytics and digitization related capabilities?

As a Data Modeler Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Data acquisition and staging from a variety of sources; SQL servers, HANA/Teradata, Azure




• Network optimization skills using Llama-soft, GURU application




• Create standard core network models for key regions: USAC, EMEA, LATAM, APAC




• Reoccurring data refresh; actual vs model variance analysis and improvement correction updates




• Project support to unique network / distribution project evaluations.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who (at a minimum) must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university




• Two (2) combined years of Data curation, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT and/or Data science experience at a plant or Division level




• One (1) year of expertise in the appropriate engineering degree or professional accreditation

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Academic background in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business mgmt




• APICS desired




• Experience in data acquisition/data staging: SQL skills, AZURE data factory




• Experience with Llama-soft optimization software, modeling tools and Tableau visualization tools..




• Skills include…project mgmt, interpersonal skills, work with a team, desire to implement change

Location: Maplewood, MN

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation: Is not authorized
