What you will do

The Source Tagging Business Development Manager (STBDM) is a specialized sales (hunter) role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new source tagging business either directly via retailers and/or indirectly via OEM channel partners. The STBDM will have a deep understanding of EAS system technology, AM/RF/RFID loss prevention solutions, retailer merchandise protection priorities, and the source tagging business model/value proposition/ROI. The majority, if not all, customer interactions are focused on the benefits and ROI of source tagging, source tagging pilot program development, and loss prevention optimization via source tagging.

How you will do it


  • Identify (prospect), pursue, and close new source tagging opportunities

  • Ensure annual source tagging revenue targets are achieved or exceeded

  • Own, nurture, and develop the relationship with retailers and OEM partners for the purpose of identifying new source tagging revenue opportunities

  • Create and deliver professional, compelling presentations to prospects and overcome objections

  • Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements that adhere to Sensormatic requirements

  • Use Salesforce to create and maintain pipeline forecasts that adhere to Sensormatic processes

  • Attend industry events, tradeshows, conferences to prospect for new business

What we look for

Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field

  • 5+ years of direct sales and business development experience

  • Experience working within and across the retail industry vertical with a focus on loss prevention, operations, and merchandising

  • Advanced level communication skills with comfort working with all levels (internally and externally)

  • Contract negotiation and administration experience

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, agile, creative, and solutions-focused

  • Ability to create professional, compelling sales presentations

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred is a definite plus
