Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Director of Membership & VIP Services is an internationally renowned hotel offering engaging service and authentically local experiences. An ambassador for the brand and hotel, as Director of Membership Sales and Operations, this role will provide sales efforts and operational leadership for supporting departments ensuring strong hotel positioning, maximized revenue and membership satisfaction

What you will be doing:
Lead and support all departments in the achievement of the financial and operational targets through establishment of a positive culture, clear expectations and policy & procedural implementation
Assist in the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Membership's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan with input to the Capital Budget
Ensure that monthly financials for all membership revenue/forecasts are on time and accurate
Ensure full compliance to Club operating controls
Maintain and improve membership and VIP services SOP's for all departments
Responsible for reporting improvements to the physical facilities in order to keep them at the highest level possible of cleanliness and function
Develop knowledge base for all Club disciplines and revenue streams by participating in and monitoring programs
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a leadership role, sales experience an asset
Extensive business operations experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning and controls
Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Enthusiastic with an outgoing personality and very service driven
Provide exceptional personal service to members and VIP's
Follow up directly on members comments and concerns and maintain a customer feedback program
Create sales plan for available memberships, working with Director of Sales and Marketing
Give prospective member tours
Enforce club rules and regulations with members
Administer a member retention program to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
