The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns for towing and / or truck accessories products. This position will work with management, other internal stakeholders and our customers to grow brand relevance, maintain the health of our brands and strive to exceed revenue goals. The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for developing and supporting go-to-market strategies for new products. This is done through the creation and execution of Marketing / Creative Briefs and robust Marketing Plans. This position reports to the Marketing Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Specialist position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Work with current team to engage new customers, optimize customer experience and improve customer retention resulting in increases in customer lifetime value
Work cross-functionally to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product initiatives
Execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that maps back to CURT Group's mission and revenue goals
Support brand positioning through deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends and competitive brands
Analyze competitive data through consumer insights to determine the overall impact of programs and generate ideas/needs for the programs
Grow brand performance across existing and new channels
Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals
Coordinate and execute consumer promotions through third-party relationships
Drive display stand program with assistance of the Sales Team and Director of Business Development
Establish and distribute swag products for the Sales Team to help support business relationships and improve tradeshow impact
Manage and promote key marketing programs and campaigns by motivating the Sales Team to grow sales through incentive
Foster key business relationships with core customers through the Team ARIES and CURT Champion programs
Act as primary point of contact for all other customer requests, funneling needs through to the Creative Services Team
Establish and maintain the CURT Group University webpages, keeping educational assets readily available for both customers and consumers
Participate in the creation of a comprehensive social media strategy, working closely with the Digital Marketing team

Requirements:
Work Experience: 3 years of marketing experience and demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed
Cross-functional Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate across all functional areas
Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate and collaborate within a high functioning team; professional & pleasant demeanor; demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer; ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with customers externally
